Traditions, like the Bridge Crossing and Welcome Back Week, are very important and we must upheld them. The Office of Student Involvement, through the Bobcat Spirit & Traditions pillar, aims to develop, create, and keep up with the school's traditions. School rituals and traditions are powerful means to both create and perpetuate school culture. Bobcat Spirit & Traditions help create a sense of community within the Bobcat Community.
The Office of Student Involvement Business Center is committed to providing outstanding customer service and resources for student clubs and organizations and the UC Merced community. Our resources include purchasing assistance, travel reservations, and flyer review and approval.
With nearly 220 registered clubs and organizations, it's easy to find ways to get involved. UC Merced has a variety of clubs and organizations that will help you find your home away from home.
Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) exists to enhance the collegiate experience through leadership, scholarship, service, and social development. FSL will also serve to educate students on the positive nature and goals of Greek membership while building unity through the creation of strong and lasting relationships.
The Personal Growth and Transformative unit within the Office of Student Involvement hosts an array of programs designed to create a fun and welcoming environment for the student body. Through both large and small scale events, the team is focused on curating events that challenge previous perceptions, connect students with new knowledge, and enhance skills for future involvements and careers.
