Associated Students of UC Merced (ASUCM)

The Associated Student of the University of California, Merced (ASUCM) is an undergraduate student government that focuses on amplifying student voices and advocating on issues impacting UC Merced students. ASUCM also aims to advance student life and campus pride by funding clubs and organizations, thereby permitting students to embrace and experience a unique and supported undergraduate experience. 

Associated Students of UC Merced - Campus Activities Board (ASUCM-CAB)

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) was created to provide a variety of entertainment, co-curricular programming, and social activities for the student body at UC Merced creating a social network and community that will enhance the development of character and scholarship amongst students.

UC Merced's Campus Activities Board hosts large-scale campus-wide events, such as CABapalooza, CABcinema, Treats N Beats, CABsterical, Winterball, Dance Off, and DeStress and Chill! We incorporate Passion, Hospitality, Innovation, and Leadership into our events.

Bobcat Spirit & Traditions

Traditions, like the Bridge Crossing and Welcome Back Week, are very important and we must upheld them. The Office of Student Involvement, through the Bobcat Spirit & Traditions pillar, aims to develop, create, and keep up with the school's traditions. School rituals and traditions are powerful means to both create and perpetuate school culture. Bobcat Spirit & Traditions help create a sense of community within the Bobcat Community. 

Business Center

The Office of Student Involvement Business Center is committed to providing outstanding customer service and resources for student clubs and organizations and the UC Merced community. Our resources include purchasing assistance, travel reservations, and flyer review and approval.

Clubs and Organizations

With nearly 220 registered clubs and organizations, it's easy to find ways to get involved. UC Merced has a variety of clubs and organizations that will help you find your home away from home

Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) exists to enhance the collegiate experience through leadership, scholarship, service, and social development. FSL will also serve to educate students on the positive nature and goals of Greek membership while building unity through the creation of strong and lasting relationships.

Personal Growth and Transformative Learning

The Personal Growth and Transformative unit within the Office of Student Involvement hosts an array of programs designed to create a fun and welcoming environment for the student body. Through both large and small scale events, the team is focused on curating events that challenge previous perceptions, connect students with new knowledge, and enhance skills for future involvements and careers.
