Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women This committee is charged with identifying issues of concern to female faculty, students and staff at UC Merced, and to advise the chancellor on potential responses to those concerns. The committee analyzes policies, procedures and programs that affect such issues and recommends changes necessary to afford women fair and equal access to programs, activities and opportunities. The overarching goal is to seek ways to ensure the best possible campus climate for all faculty, students and staff.

Violence Prevention Program
The Violence Prevention Program (VPP) provides culturally sensitive responses to and education about sexual violence, domestic/dating violence and stalking. The VPP serves all individuals affiliated with UC Merced including students, staff and faculty members.
